John Piper on Voting and the ‘08 Election
Jake Rasmussen | November 1, 2008 | 1:23 pmI received this video from a friend, DJ Jenkins. He posted it on Facebook today and doesn’t know I am reposting it here. But, Dj, thanks for sharing this video with us.
John Piper is a wise pastor with a gentle heart, talks kind of like a grandpa, and a deep love for scripture and Jesus Christ. And although I do not agree with everything he talked about on this video, I enjoyed the end with the focus on the gospel. With a focus on Jesus. A focus on the Kingdom of God. Reminds me, “seek first the Kingdom of God and everything else will be added.”

Oh, but I DO know. Yeah I agree with you man,

Yeah I agree with you man, don’t necessarily agree with all of it (though all of it is for sure thought provoking), but I dig the overall call to be about the kingdom and not feel like our whole world rises and falls on the political candidate that gets elected.
Piper rocks.
