The Waiting Game
Jake Rasmussen | February 6, 2008 | 1:55 amA few weeks ago I had to submit for the official word from the movie theater place about renting the theater for a year. This waiting game is really hard.
For those of you who don’t know….
Jennifer and I have taken the step in following God to start a church. I have this strong feeling from God that the place needs to be a movie theater at Park Place Mall.
Why the mall?
- Well, it matches Jennifer and I pretty well.
- There are people there who don’t know Jesus.
- It is a comfortable place for families.
- We desire to connect with men. Men like going the church about as much as they like going to the dentist. But, they like to see movies. “If they are enviromently comfortable they can become theologically aware.“
- Children enjoy going to the movie.
So, please join us in prayer as we await the final word from the national company who needs to give the final OK. I thought this was all a go. But, there was one last hoop to jump though. God has the plan… right?
